Step-by-Step Instructions
- Pre-press your garment — Press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position your transfer — Place the transfer film-side down on the garment in your desired position.
- Cover with Teflon or parchment — Always use a cover sheet to protect the transfer and your press.
- Apply heat and pressure — Press at the recommended settings for your fabric type.
- Peel while warm — Lift one corner to test. DTF transfers are typically warm-peel. If the film resists, press for 2 more seconds.
- Cool and finish — Allow the garment to cool for 30 seconds. For extra durability, place a Teflon sheet over the transfer and re-press for 5 seconds.
Care Instructions After Pressing
- Wait 24 hours before washing
- Wash inside-out in cold water
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry
- Do not iron directly on the print
Tips for Best Results
- Always test a small area first if pressing on a new fabric type
- Ensure even pressure across the entire transfer
- For larger transfers, press in sections with slight overlap
- If using a household iron, use the highest cotton setting and apply firm pressure, moving slowly
